As Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (_VOIS) embarks on a global transformation of its data and analytics landscape to harness the power of machine learning and AI, expertise in cloud technologies and a deep understanding of data privacy and governance become essential.
Ensuring the proper management of our data becomes paramount, and the Data Governance Specialist will be instrumental in this endeavor.
Collaborating closely with teams such as Architecture, Data Science, and Delivery, this role will establish and uphold the necessary standards and processes.
Acting as both a guardian and a steward of our data, the Specialist will focus on implementing quality measures, coordinating with IT and operational teams, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, particularly in cloud environments.
By facilitating smooth data management practices, the Specialist will enable teams across various service lines to meet their delivery requirements at scale.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership.
Establish archiving standards and establish processes.
Define data retention policies.
Identify data quality issues and drive.
Ensure that platform adheres to regulatory controls i.

GDPR.
Working closely with architecture teams to establish a data quality and catalogue capabilities.
What you bring.
Understand and used GCP technologies or other similar Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Exposure to data lake or data warehouse implementation.
Worked in agile environment.
Advanced English level..
