About this role.
This role is responsible for the maintenance, support, and operations of Gartner Consulting software applications.
The Software Support Analyst is responsible for triaging, routing, and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for the various system users and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
They will also be accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operational tasks required to support the ongoing functionality of the software applications.
What you’ll do.
A core component of Consulting’s strategic direction is to drive operational effectiveness and scale the business using technology and process.
This is a new role to the organization and will be focused on supporting Consulting’s growing software application footprint.
Provide expert support to end users in the identification and resolution of application related issues Lead all efforts as it pertains to incident resolutions escalation of complex issues and provide advice on tactical and strategic solutions Understand the administration and user side functionality within the supported software applications Troubleshoot errors and application issues via the testing environment Research and recommend software configuration changes Work with IT organization to have application issues fixed, both short term and long term (root cause) Work with the various business departments to understand their needs for the software and any issues they are experiencing Responsible for the creation of software operations and support related documentation Research and develop process improvements as part of continuous improvement Perform routine operational tasks (i.
.
Configuration changes, data entry, produce reports, etc) Perform Data cleansing activities as needed to support high data quality across systems Provide regular and proper communication to users throughout the resolution process What you’ll need.
4 Year University/Undergraduate Degree Preferred 3-5 years supporting software applications.
This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with solid communication skills.
Works under pressure, is able to multi-task and manage competing priorities  Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks, follow ups, and issue resolution to closure CRM and/or Professional Services Automation software knowledge and experience is a strong asset Diligent attention to detail is essential due to the nature work Sound ethics and confidentiality with good customer service skills  Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Successfully develop good relationships with the field and become a trusted support function.
