Job Description The local Social Media Manager is part of the local Sales Team and is responsible for the brand awareness, acquisition and retention of customers and local community management.
Focusing on increasing reach, engagement and the development of our follower base by planning, implementing and evaluating social media activities as well as developing influencer relationships.
Key responsibilities.
Develop social media plans according to zooplus brand guidelines and continuously execute, monitor and improve our local social media strategy Monitor social media performance, analyse key metrics, and provide regular reports to track engagement, follower growth and brand reputation Responsible for the conception and development of local social media content as well as local social media - and influencer campaigns, competitions etc.
Implementation of centrally steered content and campaigns.
Close cooperation with local campaign teams on planning and execution of local and central campaigns Plan and execute innovative storytelling in relevant social media channels and help building a social media love brand.
create social media content that inspires people to share Ongoing identification of social media trends, competitor activities, platform updates, and industry developments Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
Being an advocate for the company in social media spaces, possibly in cooperation with Customer Care level 3 manager Identify relevant influencers for zooplus.
Acquire and integrate them into the zooplus brand communication and build solid relationships with them, directly or through agencies Identify potential negative publicity or crises on social media or communities and apply effective conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues Monitor local communities such as pet forums, niched media and company / product review pages Build relationships and co-ordinate collaborations with local charities, breeders and shelters and build local social media campaign around our charity activities Qualifications University degree in Economics, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or related fields  5 years of relevant work experience within the area of Social Media, Communications or Online Marketing A strong sense for Social Media Content and Online Storytelling paired with an affinity for numbers and very good analytical skills  Social Media / tech savvy with relevant knowledge of latest Social Media and E-commerce trends, Social Media platforms and multi-social posting programs Ability to find creative solutions, as well as a high level of initiative and reliability  Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a goal-driven as well as team-oriented working style Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues Proficiency in English.
Native Spanish.
Portuguese could be a plus.
