With our digital DNA, we thrive on challenges, love to think outside the box, and move with the times.Would you like to join us? 👋Job purpose:You will work with our product team to design, implement and validate our product development to become the preferred brand for travellers and accommodations all over the world and the best way to connect for both of them.The Product and Development team at Stayforlong is a forward-thinking group of technical professionals, devoted to crafting innovative solutions and streamlining our platform to create the best user experience.Our team consists of skilled product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and data scientists. We take pride in leveraging our technical prowess, coupled with customer insights, to create and maintain a user-friendly and technologically superior platform. We value the opportunity to grow together, celebrating each milestone as we traverse this exciting journey.Main job responsibilities are:Build backend services for a web-based product in an Agile environment.Develop and scale distributed systems.Design, implement and test your solutions.Integrations with 3rd party APIs.What you will bring:5+ years of experience in similar roles building technically complex products in Go, C++, Java or PHP.Comfortable with asynchronous programming techniques: streams, task queues, message queues.Soft skills: Collaborative, proactive, resolutive, analyst.Valuable:Strong Go language knowledge.Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.Experience working with data-driven products.Experience with cloud computing in general and AWS in particular.Fluent in English.Our tech stack:Go, PHP7.4 and JavaScript, although new team members have joined with backgrounds in Java, Kotlin or Python.Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.Datadog, Graylog, and New Relic.Ansible, Jenkins, Slack, and Git.Docker and AWS.What we offer:Permanent contract.Full-time and flexible schedule.Possibility to work 100% from home or in our nice office located in the centre of Barcelona.Competitive salary.We offer flexible remuneration.
