We offer no-nonsense management, flexibility, independence, results-based, zero-bureaucracy, well-organized environment with some brain-challenging tasks.WHAT TECHNOLOGIES WE USEThe open vacancy is for a permanent position of full-stack developer at a distributed Java/JavaScript-based platform hosted on cloud services and containers (Docker), whose core architecture is built on Java EE (Java 17 application container + database/index) with a broad range of libraries, services and APIs integrated (Lucene, Flink, TensorFlow, Gelly, Amazon/Google APIs, etc), while its presentation tier is written mainly in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript backed by the services using Struts2 framework.The platform is based on Big Data components (Elastic Search, Aurora, Kafka, NoSQL) on the backend side and sophisticated graphic/animation libraries on the front-end (SVG, Sigma, WebGL), enhanced by AI (LLM and ML models) for data processing and user interaction.REQUIRED SKILLSET:JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3Java 8+SQL (mySQL or Oracle or PostgreSQL)Tomcat (or similar Java web container)XML / jSONSpoken and written EnglishWELCOME SKILLSET:jQuery (or similar JavaScript framework)Struts2 (or similar Java web framework)SVG / HighCharts / SigmaJS / D3Java / Jakarta EEXSL2D / 3D layouting algorithmsA-Frame / Unity (or other VR / WebVR platform)Responsive UI designApache serverLinux / UnixVSC / Eclipse / IntelliJGradle (or similar build framework)NOTE:Candidates based outside of Spain will work as contractors paid via monthly workday-based invoices.
