The team is charged with accelerating the shift to precision marketing and to e-commerce sales, scaling best-in-class data driven decision making tools, capturing new opportunities in the digital health space and uphauling disjointed commercial systems.
This team leverages both dedicated expertise internally at Sanofi, and delivery and deployment partners.
It builds products, runs service / outsourcing contracts, and develops centers of excellence in technology and digital.
About you You are a dynamic data scientist interested in challenging the status quo to ensure development and impact of Sanofi's AI solutions for the patients of tomorrow.
You are an influencer and leader who has deployed DSC/AI/ML solutions applying state-of-the art algorithms with technically robust lifecycle management.
You have a keen eye for improvement opportunities and a demonstrated ability to deliver AI/ML solutions while working across different technologies and in a cross-functional environment.

Seeking candidates with over 5 years of experience in similar roles, indicating a senior position.
Wide Application of Expertise.
Apply data science expertise in machine learning, statistics, text-mining/NLP, forecasting and optimization to multiple analytics projects.
End-to-End Process Understanding.
Strong understanding of the end2end process, from POC to MLOPS.
Use data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define and deliver AI-based data products.
Model Development.
Conceptualize, Build models, algorithms, simulations, and experiments by writing highly optimized code and using state-of-the art machine learning technologies.
Full Spectrum Activities.
Involved in the entire spectrum of activities from ML experiments to delivering production-ready models.
Collaboration and Communication.
Work closely with stakeholders, developers, engineers, and MLOps to deliver AI/ML solutions.
Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications.
Hands-on AI/ML modeling experience of complex datasets combined with strong understanding of theoretical foundations of AI/ML.
Establish and drive data hygiene best practice to ensure coherence and integrity of data feeding into production ML/AI solutions.
Collaborate with colleagues across science and engineering disciplines for fast turnaround proof-of-concept prototyping at scale.
Project management skills focused on data science and machine learning operations.
Expertise within most of the following areas.
supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, federated learning, time series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, optimization Experience developing deployable code and deploying models in product-focused development under an agile environment Comfortable working in cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.

Educational Background.
PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline with strong coding skills, OR Master’s Degree in relevant domain with 6+ years of analytical experience Programming Skills.
Expertise with core data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala), and familiarity with different database systems (e.
.
SQL, NoSQL).
Strong programming experience and repositories experience – interest for continuous improvement.
Documentation.
Experience documenting modeling for technical and business leaders CI/CD.
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines specifically designed for data science projects.
Experience automating and orchestrating the build, test, and deployment processes for machine learning models and data pipelines.
Ability to integrate CI/CD practices into the development workflow to ensure reproducibility, reliability, and scalability of AI/ML solutions.
Familiarity with tools and platforms for CI/CD in data science, such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Understanding of version control best practices and how they apply to data science projects, including managing code, data, and model artifacts.
Capability to streamline model versioning, validation, and deployment through automated pipelines, facilitating rapid iteration and deployment cycles.
MLOPs.
Demonstrated experience in implementing MLOps practices to streamline the deployment and lifecycle management of machine learning models.
Proficiency in building and managing automated workflows for model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Ability to integrate machine learning models into existing CI/CD pipelines and production environments, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Experience with model versioning, model metadata management, and model performance monitoring in production settings.
Familiarity with tools and platforms for MLOps, such as MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX (TensorFlow Extended), or similar.
Understanding of infrastructure requirements for deploying and scaling machine learning models in cloud and on-premises environments.
Capability to collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure alignment between machine learning and software development practices Data Visualization Tools.
Knowledge of tools like Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, or similar.
API Experience.
Experience with various enterprise-level APIs for integration purposes.
