SCHEDULING AND PLANNING SPECIALIST

GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Scheduling and Planning Engineer will be responsible for acting as a key support function to assist the Corporate Engineering management in achieving key KPIs related to the safe, efficient, and optimized execution of fixed and floating Offshore Wind Projects, from early development to Operation. The Scheduling and Planning Engineer will need to ensure support to both Corporate and Project teams in all planning and scheduling issues and have the responsibility for maintaining the schedule as the project progresses, ensuring that it is consistent and complete as well as providing regular updates, analysis, and reporting. Projects can be in early-stage development, tender, development, design, procurement, construction and operation phases.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESThe Scheduling and Planning Specialist shall support the Engineering and Project Teams:for project schedules including the generation and interpretation of critical path analysis.inputs to the project team during the development and implementation phases of the project to ensure that project activity is planned and delivered in a logical, timely, and effective way.input to ensure project risks are mitigated through the effective scheduling of activities within the project and assist in the creation, analysis, and maintenance of risk management information.recognized tools to assist in the capture, processing, and communication of data.the Engineering team in working with Contractors to refine their schedules to ensure compliance with overall schedule.that project schedules are accurate, that they reflect the project objectives, are updated in a timely manner and are communicated to the whole team.detailed logic linked project plans in Primavera P6, MS Project and other state of the art Planning applications.that scheduling standards and processes are in order to support development of offshore wind projects.scenario planning to support project optimization.break down structures and project master schedules.project planning leadership and support to the project teams.out risk analysis, weather downtime analysis and delay mitigation analysis. Advise project and team management on risks and opportunities.and maintaining What-If scenarios as requiredprovide advice and analysis to the project teams on all planning and scheduling matters.Corporate learning via peer review and project lessons learned transfer.with project specific planning and regional activities during periods of high workload.and maintain long-, mid- and short-term activity planning and schedules to support the decision-making processes.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDDegree in Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or other academic qualification with relevant experiencePMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is desired.LANGUAGESFluent in English.
