At Accor, we are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join the team at Novotel Barcelona City.
he hotel is located in Barcelona, near the Torre Glories, symbol of the most avant-garde area of Barcelona, 2 km from Bogatell beach and 4 km from the center of Barcelona and the pedestrian streets of the Gothic quarter.
ob DescriptionResponsible for developing marketing opportunities and implementing new commercial plans.
Commercial representation of the Novotel Barcelona City at national and international events, making occasional trips to promote the hotels business.
evelopment of the MICE segment through the acquisition of new national and international clients as well as the loyalty of the existing client portfolio.
roactive account management to ensure maximum yield in line with budget targets.
espond to daily requests and leads from potential clients in an agile and prompt manner as well as group quotations and various proposals.
articipate in the preparation and follow-up of the annual budget, marketing plan and forecasts.
issions and projects together with Management and RM to achieve the objectives set for the sales department.
egotiating rates and contracts with travel agencies, DMCs, OPCs, companies and consortiums both directly and through GDS, CVENT, etc.
irection and direct management of the Commercial and Events department.
Collaborative work with RM, and Reservations.
roactively and efficiently plan, organize and manage the annual sales calendar and the Commercial Action Plan.
onstant analysis of market trends and competitor activity.
eekly and monthly reporting of results, when required by Management.
esponsible for a team of 2 people.
ualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a hotel setting, ideally as a Sales Manager, with solid experience in MICE.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
French and Catalan are desirable.
Very good commercial approach, people skills and empathy.
xcellent interpersonal skills and being able to represent the hotel in the best manner.
nowledge of the hotel location and consolidated networking in the sector will be an asset.
