What we are looking for We are looking for a passionate hospitality student eager to start his career path in the revenue & reservations areas.
You will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in this field, learning at different levels of responsibility and working in team.
As an intern, you will contribute your passion, drive and ideas to ensure that we offer the highest quality in service to our clients.
You will report to the Director of Revenue, and the main tasks are.
Revenue Management Strategy Support.
By assisting the Director of Revenue Management with essential administrative duties and fulfil reporting and analysis tasks, it will ensure that the RM strategies as defined by the team can be executed in an efficient and pro-active manner.
Providing contingency along with our Reservations Manager in the event of absence is also an element in the delivery of strategy objectives.
Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
Perform competitor checks and report as appropriate.
Assist the DORM in identifying soft periods and developing promotions and strategies Support the DORM in effective implementation of Four Seasons Revenue Management Standards, Policies & Procedures.
(Rate Plans, Rate Categories, Market Segmentation, Profiles and all other PMS/ORS related RM functionality.) Action Rate Solicitations as directed and maintain rate plans.
Ensure the hotel has Best Rate Guarantee compliance, and work with the DORM to minimize/eliminate rate parity claims against the hotel.
Assist the DORM with daily updates of the Revenue Management Reports, and ensure all data input into the system is accurate.
(Geo Source, Product Quality, Pricing).
Opportunity to assist with all aspects of budget preparation.
Assist in the preparation of day fully updated Forecasts.
Work with the DORM to prepare longer term forecasts and achieve hotel forecast accuracy goals.
Participate in the property’s weekly Strategy Meeting and contribute to the Daily Operations Meeting.
Review and analyze data on an ongoing and end of month basis.
Provide monthly reports on production, trends, booking and stay patterns as well as channel analysis.
Evaluation of the distribution channel performance and potential reasons for this performance.
Analyze competitive reports and formulate appropriate suggestions for strategies through use of STR Reports, Hotelligence reports Daily communication with our Reservations and Front Office and Sales team to share best practices.
Reservations Answer General Reservations e-mail, retrieve and distribute mail and process brochure requests.
Develop and maintain a customer database.
Call to confirm and/or guarantee non-guaranteed reservations, clear waitlisted reservations.
Contact guests or travel planners to clarify any discrepancies in the preferences or requests before guests’ arrival.
Manage administrative requests as directed by the Management Team Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee Manage Item Inventory schedule to maximize yield Build strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively Good organizational and administration skills High level of multi- tasking skills Working knowledge of the hotel property management systems such as Opera with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department and assist making any reservations as needed for them (such as site reservations, media comp reservations, corporate and Preferred Partner/Fine Hotels and Resort) About You Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work according to standards are highly valued.
Previous experience in a 5 start hotel is recommended, and knowledge of Excel is required.
The applicants must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.

This opportunity entails.
Full time 6-months internship (40h/day), from Monday to Friday (8h/day).
Weekends are free and we are including 30 minutes for lunch within the working day.
Meals are covered during shift.
Uniform and its cleaning is provided at the hotel.
We are offering 5 days of holiday within the 6-months period, as well as the day of the birthday free.
Monthly gross gratification of 450€.
Learning plan adapted to the student, and based on previous experience, motivation and objectives.
