Sobi offers the opportunity to work at an international pharmaceutical company focused on specialty pharmaceuticals meeting the high medical needs of rare disease patients and providing treatment and services to them. Our employees come from a variety of backgrounds within research, healthcare, industry and the academic sphere.Job DescriptionPurposeSupporting Sobi marketed products portfolio as well as future pipeline introduction, preparing markets in some specifics Spanish regions, providing strategic knowledge about regional healthcare systems market landscape as well as monitoring the changes in market access policies and legislations.Key Responsibilities/Scope of the JobObjectivePropose and implement patient access strategy for the regions aligned with national and global strategy. Ensure adequate Sobi brands positioning and access into hospitals/regions considering current health environment and applicable regulations, including but not limited to:Collect appropriate information and stakeholders mapping for each therapeutic area.Analyze health environment and available products positioning of the same therapeutic area.Follow up of regional assessments and stakeholders’ interactions.Develop local/regional patient access strategy aligned with national strategy.Being able to manage all Sobi portfolio at the same time.Identify and stablish contact with Pricing Commission Members and critical advisors at regional and national level, for pricing and reimbursement processes.Demonstrate deep knowledge of the territory including policy environment; health policies; regional healthcare plans to develop key activities to prepare for the expansion of our portfolio and pipeline.Implement validated patient access strategy for the Region by preparing and submitting relevant information required for access processes:Managing successful negotiations (commercial policies and collaborations) for both Sobi and hospitals.Ensure timely submission and follow up with authorities.Having deep knowledge of therapeutic areas and Sobi products, being able to link scientific knowledge to benefits for each stakeholder.Lead these processes cross-functionally to ensure alignment of all stakeholders involved in access processes.Create strong interpersonal relationship with stakeholder by seeking to understand needs, challenges, beliefs, and motivation. Establish strong and reliable relations with relevant authorities and convey Sobi image and values, in coordination with medical and commercial teams.Develop technical oversight responsibilities leading cross functional teams during pre-launch and launch process and negotiations. Demonstrate a strong level of collaboration with other company functions.Ensure appropriate vigilance on any environment and/or competitors information impacting patient access activities and update appropriate cross functional team.Together with Community engagement lead propose and coordinate appropriate patient access board(s) or groups to develop or adjust patient access strategy. Develop and implement advocacy plan including stakeholders mapping and engagement.QualificationsEducation/Learning Experience/Work ExperienceRequired:University degree5 years of medtech/biotech/pharmaceutical experience in a market access ecosystem related roleDesired: Previous experience in a similar position, interacting with relevant stakeholders involved in government affairs and access processes.Skills/Knowledge/LanguagesRequired: Ability to review data, analyses, identify opportunities and challenges and to anticipate these in a proactive and prospective manner. (Experience in contracting models)Knowledge of the regional and national market access environmentDemonstrated ability to propose and execute on a regional strategic plan, Strategic level thinkingAbility to work in cross-functional teams and to “federate” resources on patient access projectsGood communication skills (oral and writing) in English.Solid understanding of Spanish Health System including different Regions.Solid understanding of commercial, medical functions and back up roles such us (regulatory, legal, financial) and how these roles best contribute to a successful patient access approachAdditional InformationPersonal Attributes Required: Strong communication skills, including across geographies and functionsStrong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple activities simultaneouslyAbility to independently plan, organise, coordinate, and execute assigned tasksUnderstanding the requirements of diverse stakeholders and conflict resolution managementDelivery focused with ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, and take action to complete assignment.Able to work collaborativelyIn addition, you should live up to our core values: Ambition, Ownership, Urgency, Partnership and Care.
