QUALITY ASSURANCE AUTOMATION ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our quality team at TRGTechnical Profile- Python Programming for Data (Functional approach) for Testing Automation- Experienced in Data Analysis / SQL Programming- Previous exposure to REST APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )- Previous exposure to SOAP APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )- Experienced in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query M, DAX, Dataset modelling, Reports and Dashboards design)- Git & CI/CD (multi branch approach) Responsibilities- Python Programming for Data (Functional approach) for Testing Automation- Experienced in Data Analysis / SQL Programming- Previous exposure to REST APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )- Previous exposure to SOAP APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )- Experienced in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query M, DAX, Dataset modelling, Reports and Dashboards design)- Git & CI/CD (multi branch approach)- Understand Business requirements and acceptance criteria of User Stories- Design holistic test strategies for QA testing of technical assets delivered by the team- Develop test automation scripts whenever possible to validate quality of data solutions delivered- Perform execution, monitoring and documentation of QA Test plans- Assume ownership on Quality Assurance of the solutions delivered by the team and act as last Gatekeeper on Production deployment of solutions- Proactively design / propose / implement solutions to monitor / enhance Data Quality on the Data Platform- Support the Team on solving Production environment issues with existing Data Analytics Assets- Main responsible on the Testing Documentation of the technical solutions implemented (at User Story level / Data Catalog level) providing both test designs, evidence of test results.- Responsible for final recommendation for Production deployment of solutions delivered by the team. Soft Skills- Fluent in English (Writing, Reading, Speaking) C1- Team worker- Delivery focused mindset- Experience on working within Agile Teams- Ability to articulate conversations with Business Stakeholders beyond technical level discussion of the user stories- Show a Gatekeeper attitude on Data Quality and Solution delivery excellence
