Come join us on that journey.We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team responsible for testing our Airline Departure Control System. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of our web and mobile application, which is essential for managing various aspects of airline operations.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Airline Desktop Control System to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify software defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand project requirements and user stories, ensuring that testing aligns with business objectives.Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates while maintaining the integrity of existing functionalities.Document test results, track defects, and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.Participate in the design and implementation of testing frameworks, tools, and processes to streamline QA activities and enhance efficiency.Conduct compatibility testing across different operating systems, browsers, and devices to ensure optimal user experience.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing to continuously improve testing methodologies.Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, however, is not essential.Proven experience working as a QA Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably in the airline industry or with complex web and mobile applications.Experience manually testing APIs, mobile, and Web applications.Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases, test scenarios and test scripts.Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, or similar.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.Knowledge of airline operations, flight management systems, or related aviation software is an advantage.Work mostly from our company's offices with the option to work from home on Fridays. This is not an entirely remote role.Work with colleagues all over the world.
