PROCUREMENT SR MANAGER, SEASONINGS EUROPE

Overview This role is responsible for leading Seasoning category across Europe Sector, through developing, aligning, and executing category sourcing strategies.
Business objectives will focus on year over year productivity, developing PSP pipelines for compressible and Value Engineering opportunities, cost effective innovation to support PEP+ and portfolio transformation, business continuity planning, supply assurance, supplier performance management to ensure best in class cost/quality/supply service levels.
A key focus in this role will be the development and execution of sourcing strategies as well as strategic supplier relationship management to meet Seasoning Big Rocks, such as cost-effective PEP+ Climate, Agriculture, Positive Choices targets achievements, major portfolio transformation, and developing new seasoning business models, as well as supporting Simplify to Grow and Design to Value Europe Business strategy.
This role is responsible for ~$250MM annual spend across some major globally operating Seasoning suppliers within Europe and 20+ other Seasoning and Salt suppliers, 500+ purchasing SKUs delivered across Europe Sector manufacturing facilities.
Mentioned locations are the preferred ones, other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities Develop and execute category sourcing strategies over a multi-year horizon and ensure delivery of short term AOP targets.
Partner with Global R&D, Global SQA, Sector SC key stakeholders and MSO to understand Region dynamics & functional needs (macroeconomic, business needs) for strategy development to ensure maximum business value Ensures full business alignment and resource allocation to deliver strategy Lead commercial and contract negotiations across the sector and deliver productivity and cash flow targets to ensure business plans are met.
Strategic Supplier relationship management and development to unlock innovation in order to deliver cost effective PEP+ and portfolio transformation targets, and to unlock consumer value supporting Design to Value and Simplify to Grow Sector strategies.
Supplier performance management to ensure best in class cost/quality/supply service levels.
Develop and execute comprehensive category risk management program including financial risk assessment and Business Continuity Planning strategies to ensure supply assurance.
Stay fully informed of industry developments, capabilities, market trends and innovation pipeline of suppliers, and ensure insights are translated into sourcing strategies in terms of innovation, VE, enhanced supply strategies as well as intel shared with MSO business partners.
Lead the team to execute category strategy and focus on team development.
Qualifications Education.
Bachelor or higher degree in Finance, Business Administration, Science, Engineering or other related field.
Experience.
10+ years of work experience in seasonings/flavours or directs raw materials procurement, or other relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge of seasonings/flavours and experience in ingredients procurement for seasonings / flavours or research & development roles in seasonings/flavours will be highly preferred.
