POSTDOC POSITION

We are searching for a highly motivated PhD  that will be developing a 3-year fellowship in the Center for Applied Medical Research of the University of Navarra, funded by a prestigious grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Spanish Research Agency (AEI) within  The Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience  program (CRCNS).
The project will be carried out in collaboration with groups from the Mayo Clinic, the University of Minnesota and the New York University.
The candidate will lead a project directed to discover neurovascular disruptions in Alzheimer’s Disease using deep learning algorithms.
The position will involve tissue processing  and molecular techniques including single cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics and data analysis.

The role will have a strong load of bioinformatics, so experience in this field is required.

The facilities are first-in-class including animal husbandry, genomics unit – with two massive sequencers, single cell lib prep instruments, spatial transcriptomics-, confocal microscopy unit, to cite just a few.
