As a Platform Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions for our clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.This is a fully remote position for candidates based in SpainResponsibilitiesSolution Design: Architect end-to-end solutions based on business requirements, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.Technology Stack: Proficient in the following technologies:Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA): Design and implement SOA-based solutions, including microservices architecture.API Management: Define API standards, create API gateways, and manage APIs effectively.Apache Kafka: Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka for real-time data streaming.Microsoft Azure: Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices, architectural principles, and industry standards.Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design patterns, and guidelinesWhat UST expects from you?Proven experience as a Technical Architect, with a focus on platform architecture.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Kafka certification) are a plus.Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Extensive knowledge and expertise in Integration architecture and design across multiple platforms at enterprise scale.Demonstrable experience in solution design leveraging microservices, SOA, API and Event driven architectures, REST, ESB, ETL and file transfer patterns.Knowledge and experience of Identity Federation and Authentication using oAuth2, OpenID Connect or SAML.Ideally having worked in complex & multi-regional environments.Experience with cloud vendor integration products and DevOps tooling (Azure, ADO).Valuable and desirable: being entitled of Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).What can we offer?23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!Numerous benefits (Heath Care Plan, Internet Connectivity, Life and Accident Insurances).`Retribución Flexible´ Program: (Meals, Kinder Garden, Transport, online English lessons, Heath Care Plan…)Free access to several training platformsProfessional stability and career plansUST also, compensates referrals from which you could benefit when you refer professionals.The option to pick between 12 or 14 payments along the year.Real Work Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, compacted hours during summertime…)UST Club Platform discounts and gym Access discountsWork from homeIf you would like to know more, do not hesitate to apply and we’ll get in touch to fill you in details.
