eadquartered in London, we are a venture-backed scale-up with offices in Barcelona (currently our largest), New York, and Gurgaon, India and we are expanding quickly!Main responsibilitiesFinancial Operations (Billing/Sales Invoicing, Credit & Collections, Purchase to Pay, Systems integration/automation, Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet reconciliations)Transactional Accounting (Payment runs, day to day general ledger management) and Internal ControlsTreasury, working capital management, and credit control across 4 group legal entities in the UK, Spain, the US, and IndiaExpenses and accounts managementPayroll accounting - support the HR teamReporting (financial statement preparation, KPIs, variance analysis, the narrative around why results are what they are, and call to action where appropriate)Ad hoc Commercial Support to the Finance and Leadership teamsPreparing & posting journals - accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, etcWhat we’re looking forWe want to work with people who inspire us2+ years of experience in a fast-paced and international environmentIndustry experience in Tech / multijurisdictional environmentGood knowledge of Tech business models and Accounting rules/best practices as they relate to this sectorPrevious experience gained in the context of a scale-up or major business transformation program (M&A, restructuring, IPO) would be helpful but not essentialFormal Accounting background (degree, qualification in UK or abroad, trained at a recognizable Accounting firm or graduate program at recognizable corporate)Fluent in EnglishWe like to work with people who areCurious, outgoing, and drivenTaking initiative and decision-making skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks, and complete them timely and effectivelyAttention to detail and high level of accuracyIntegrity and professionalismAutonomous but enjoy teamworkWhat we offerArbolus is a high growth company that wants to reward people for their hard work and contributionInternational exposureInfluence on the future of ArbolusGreat team & strong office cultureRegular social eventsWork from home daysTop-notch equipment
