Key Account Leader - Miami, FL -  Janssen Pulmonary Hypertension Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine - Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) (formerly Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd.), a Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Pharmaceutical Company of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Key Account Leader (KAL) position based in Miami, Florida.

A Key Account Leader coordinates all Local Healthcare Market (LHM) activity to meet customer needs through collaboration with Territory Leaders (TM), Therapy Access Leaders (TAM), Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), and Strategic Account Leaders (SAM).
The KAL will be the key point of contact to prioritize key accounts within the LHM to communicate the breadth of J&J Innovative Medicine Pulmonary Hypertension products and services.
Responsible for delivering on the sales and business goals for the LHM.    The primary responsibilities of a Key Account Leader include the following (other duties may be assigned).
·       Collaborates with the cross functional LHM team to develop account plans ·       Representing the LHM team, presents account plans to cross functional management team ·       Develops new business and maintains existing business within LHM by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers ·       Creates and facilitates alignment between all LHM team members ·       Coordinates effectively with peers, internal departments, and customers to ensure that key issues are understood and addressed, and priorities are set appropriately ·       Responsible for creating a unified and positive experience for customers within LHM and accountable for addressing customer feedback ·       Works closely with LHM teammates to achieve business goals through spending time in the field, executing business plans and planning/attending programs ·       Builds and strengthens business relationships with specialty pharmacies local representatives ·       Supports critical educational initiatives within the LHM ·       Manages their individual budget within the LHM Qualifications Required.
·       Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Higher Degree (e.
., PharmD) ·       Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical field sales experience and/or 5 years specialty field sales in rare disease, cardiovascular, rheumatologic and/or pulmonary disease states ·       Valid Driver’s License ·       Adherence to PhRMA, HIPAA, OIG, and all corporate policies and procedures Preferred.
·       Specialty field sales experience in either cardiovascular, rheumatologic, and/or pulmonary disease states ·       Prior experience with “Leading Without Authority” ·       Sales experience within the Rare Disease marketplace ·       Proven track record of high sales performance ·       Working knowledge and/or experience with hospital sales and managed care dynamics ·       Strong clinical knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology ·       Previous experience in handling issues and challenges in the specialty pharmaceutical marketplace ·       Fluency in Spanish ·       Resides in the assigned geography of the position ·       Experience working with products distributed by specialty pharmacies Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
