JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER (ARCHITECT/TECHNICAL ARCHITECT)

BOSCALT Partners is a real estate private equity firm investing in hotels across major European cities. The firm creates substantial value by combining hospitality, real estate, corporate finance, and sustainability. BOSCALT Partners is the investment advisor to the BOSCALT Hospitality Fund, a Luxembourg-based RAIF-SICAR, focused in the upper-end of the hotel market, operated by upscale to luxury brands, in prime locations in key European cities.Boscalt’s team is spread over several offices (Madrid, Barcelona, Andorra and Luxembourg), providing the Fund with different services: Operations, Financial, Legal, Investment and Development. This offer is launched from the Operations department, which is located in the Madrid office and in charge of the management of the projects from the purchase of the asset to the moment it is ready to go back to the market, once refurbished and repositioned. The department is led by the COO and has three main areas: Technical, Asset Management and Hotel Financial Control. The offered position is Junior Project Manager, directly reporting to the Technical Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be a Junior Project Manager with a degree in building engineer, hospitality project manager experience, availability to travel and enjoy working in international environments and a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities:Tracking project invoicing management affecting project CAPEX .Reviewing of contracts affecting the project CAPEX.Tracking of daily activities affecting the project program.Assisting with Tender process revisions, initial request for proposals and tracking requests for information.Inventory preparation and supervision of the subsequent purchasing process.Assistance to track design process phases and design evolution.Tracking of Hotel’s Operator standards and signoffs.Technical reporting.Follow-up of construction development, assisting with daily requests from site.Analyzing due diligence and assisting investment team with potential new property projects.Involvement in pre-opening phase, assisting with client direct procurement.Qualifications and skills needed:Bachelor’s degree in building engineer (required).More than 3 year’s experience as project controller / project manager assistant / capex & schedule controller.Hospitality project experience (desired).Based in Madrid.Availability to travel.Good interpersonal skills.Team worker.Results oriented person.Proficient at least in Spanish and English. French and Italian will be highly considered.
