About the role As Health and Safety Specialist - Ergonomist you will be a part of our Volvo Cars Košice plant Health and Safety team.
our role will be to support Plant, Project team and Health & Safety team in the area of health, safety and ergonomics.
The Health and Safety team has the responsibility to secure Volvo Cars Kosice plant prerequisites to fulfill legal compliance and corporate strategic ambitions within work environment, including occupational health, safety and wellbeing program.

What you’ll do •    Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement, following Volvo Cars ergonomic standards and legal requirements •    Lead local network and drive Volvo Cars process for ergonomics in Kosice plant •    Participate in Volvo Cars global ergonomic network •    Learn and take impressions from other plants within Volvo Cars •    Develop and implement ergonomic solutions to enhance workplace safety, comfort, and efficiency •    Provide recommendations for workstation design, layout, and equipment selection to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and other ergonomic-related injuries •    Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate ergonomic principles into workspace design •    Deliver training sessions and workshops to educate employees on proper ergonomic practices and techniques •    Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ergonomics to continuously improve processes and solutions •    Deliver training for employees and leaders on how to use and evaluate ergonomics with Volvos ergonomic assesment tools •    Support Health and Safety manager, Plant and Project team in other topics related to Health and Safety   Your skills and what you will bring With global standards and local adaption, we define and implement common policies and strategies for ergonomics, work environment and health services to support Volvo Cars overall People Strategy.

Required qualifications •    Documented qualifications in the Health & Safety area or closely related areas of expertise •    Knowledge of Slovakian legislation in the field of health, safety, work environment and ergonomics •    Proved Industry experiences and experiences in the area of Ergonomics •    Passion for Wellbeing, Health and Safety •    Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset •    Ability to work independently as well as in team •    Ability to think and act operationally  •    Communication and presenting skills  •    Fluent in English and Slovak, both written and spoken   Where you’ll be You will be based at Volvo Cars’ Kosice plant in Slovakia.

The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job.
Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
