GROUP HOSPITALITY BUSINESS CONTROLLER & STRATEGY MANAGERWe are a fast-growing hospitality group, looking for our Group Business Controller & Strategy Manager.Consequently, experience in hospitality is fundamental.Why?Because we need someone to take control over our different businesses and business units in the company, and to give us the insights of how everything is going, where to grow from here, and where to start doing things differently now.This is why we are looking for our new Group Business Controller & Strategy Manager!And we need someone very proactive for this mission.This is why we need this person to be someone who takes ownership of the role, and who collaborates with every single department in HQ, as well as with all our operations from our different businesses and business units, to:Organize and analyze all relevant information and data in the group to propose actions to be taken by the company, working directly with top management of the organization. Audit all business and financial aspects of the organization to propose efficiencies and new methodologies to all departments and businesses to better organize, operate and report.Detect business growth opportunities inside our revenue inflows, to boost certain business units / projects / products to maximize efficiency and profit for the company. Take ownership of all reporting in the organization, to work in the most automated way possible, so that the top management can be agile to take decisions and move in the right direction in a quick manner.Improve the way departments and business units operate, work and report through the thorough analysis of their financial and operational figures that you will customize and improve yourself to refine the reporting system to best suit our operations. Of course, there are many other things you will be doing as our Group Business Controller & Strategy Manager. But we think this gives you a nice overview of the main things we will be expecting from you, as we said, in a proactive way.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION?After everything that we shared so far, there are certain things we are looking for in our future’s Group Business Controller & Strategy Manager background. To succeed in this role you will need:Mastery in USALI.Mastery in Excel.At least 5 years experience of proven track record controlling businesses of a hospitality group and assuming business analysis responsibilities to make your company be well run and managed.Additional experience in a Big 4 audit firm (or similar) will be highly valuable.Excellent Spanish and English skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages will be highly valuable (we’re an internationalized hospitality group 🙂)Mastery in management of top ERP systems (experience in ERP’s implementation projects will be valuable too). Proactivity. Actually, tons of it. As the title of this company states “Group Business Controller & Strategy Manager”, we want you to be controlling the business of our group, and to work close to the top management to accompany the strategic actions of our group after your business control and analysis inputs.Organization. We need you to have all the group’s businesses well controlled and reporting the necessary information in the most automated manner, so that you can focus on the analysis of the business, to make strategic propositions. In order for this to happen, you need to be very organized and be used to working with neat, well-structured, organized and easy-to-extract information.  Analysis capacity and Strategic thinking.
