GLOBAL MICE MANAGER - MINOR HOTELS EU&AM - NY

Minor Hotels is looking for a proactive and energetic Sales Manager with Meetings and Events Account Management Sales background.
Someone with the passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards.
To maximize revenues and profits from assigned account portfolio.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Coordinate sales efforts in the geographical working area while representing this international hotel chain.
The role will report directly to the Director of Business Development of Global Sales NORAM and will be responsible for driving the Meetings & Events Account Management Sales Strategy and grow client account & partner relationships.
• Identify key internal and external sources of information to detect and understand market trends.
• Daily management of account portfolio.
Specific emphasis on Key Partner Accounts.
• Acts as an advisor and reference point for NorAm MICE trends expanding collective input on projects affecting MICE (“MICE Optimization”, CRM for Sales, etc.) • Summarize and integrate all sources of information to produce a comprehensive view of the MICE segment trends the NORAM market.
• Regular communication with Managers & Directors in all Business Units (countries) and other team leaders to deploy a collective strategy and clear guidelines.
• Monitor monthly results; implement timely adjustments to maximize revenues and profits.
• Update commercial CRM with all the activities planned and executed.
• Responsible for meeting deadlines and submitting reports in a timely manner.
• Build relationships with the key decision makers of the Regions strategic accounts.
• Represent all hotels within the hotel group.
• Ensure that company strategy is followed, executed, and monitored in a consistent way.
• Communicate and pro-actively seek new business opportunities.
• Maintain a high-quality client Database.
• Attend industry related conferences and trade shows.
Requisitos EDUCATION Degree level - preferably in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management.
Value given to post graduate qualifications.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience working at global level representing multiple hotels • Experienced knowledge and Understanding of the MICE market segment including RFP process, CVENT Tool • Sales focused, Results oriented and Proactive approach • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with polished presentation skills • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Se ofrece The role will be based in NH NORAM Global Sales Headquarters, C/O NH Collection New York Madison Hotel, New York, NY.
