GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

Hello there! We’re  Vodafone Intelligent Solutions  (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a     General Ledger Accountant     Your role in a nutshell.
To perform assigned accounting and control transaction processing responsibilities in accordance with defined operating procedures.
To maintain accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, fixed asset, intercompany and chart of accounting records, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
What you'll do.
Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data, preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliation, profit and loss report Drafts segments of statements and reports Handles assignments involving analysis of data.
Prepares reports and analyses as required Work may involve all or some of the following.
Reconciliation of sub ledger and external systems to general ledger Analysis of monthly reconciliation data Posting of general ledger journals Posting of files produced by external systems to general ledger  Performing month end and ad-hoc reporting Clearing intercompany mismatches Forecast reporting and data upload to consolidation system Providing financial information to senior stakeholders Control on payroll related activities     What you will bring to the team.
Finance/ accounting experience in the following areas.
general ledger/ fixed asset/ intercompany/ chart of accounts accounting Fluency in English Previous experience within SSC environment is an advantage Good computer skills (advanced MS Excel knowledge) SAP experience/ knowledge is an advantage Accuracy, attention to details Good communication skills In return we provide you with.
