We are looking for a Frontend Developer specialised in the REACT framework and the TypeScript programming language, for a new freelancing project 100% Working From Home!Our client is one of the leading IT service providers, with a team of more than 9.900 employees on 65 sites within The Group.Find more details about the opportunity below:Start: ASAPType of contract: FreelanceDuration of project: 6 months + possible extensionLocation: 100% remoteLanguages: Proficient in English AND SpanishRequired skills to start in the Sherpa tech stackYou will need to be proficient in these skills and concepts to be onboarded and start working in the Sherpa tech stack:Typescript:• Benefits of using Typescript• Types in general• Typescript tooling• Defining Types (type, interface definitions)• Composing / manipulating Types• Type Unions• Generics• Structural TypesReact & Typescript:• Basic React (JSX, Components, Props, Conditional rendering)• Benefits of using React with Typescript• Functional Components• Hooks (useState, useEffect, useCallback, useMemo, etc )• Styling (CSS-in-JS -> Styled Components / Emotion with tagged templates and object styles)• Routing• Server RenderingNext.js:• From React to Next.js (generating new next.js package, dev and prod server and other basic concepts)• Server side rendering, Pre-rendering and Static Site Generation• Pages / Dynamic Routing (templates) / Api Routes• Bundling & Code splitting• Basic SEO & MetadataGraphQL:• GraphQL basics (what is it for, benefits other REST, backend for frontend)• Schema / SDL• Fetching data with queries / queries with arguments• Writing data with mutations• Apollo Client (integration in react/next, caching options, fetching data, writing data, ssr mode vs. client side)• Tooling (Apollo Studio, GraphQL playground)
