Conducts the re lationship with institutions and the financial community.
Responsible for evaluating the unit's operating results in terms of costs, budgets and trends.
Oversee the maintenance of tax records and preparation of financial reports.
Location Viana do Castelo plant, Portugal RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES.
Develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters related to the fiscal soundness and operational effectiveness of the plant.
Prepare budgets.

Function as a source of knowledge about details and mechanics of financial systems.
Responsible for economic feasibility studies.
Responsible for evaluating the finance department and overseeing internal audit cost accounting and budget controls.

TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
OCD (valorized).
MBA (valued).
Minimum of 10 years of business experience characterized by a path of increasing responsibility.
1 to 3 years of experience in supervisory positions (preferred).
Excellent leadership skills.
High problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills.
Solid knowledge of the country's tax and accounting system.
Solid knowledge of international accounting standards.
Solid knowledge of change management principles and processes.
Working knowledge of the Health and Safety system and procedures.
Knowledge of the quality management system.
Proficiency in Portuguese (spoken and written).
Good level of English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel.
