Role Purpose.
The Digital Analyst is responsible for all digital marketing systems integrated into Vodafone.
e and My Vodafone app.
They are also responsible for web analytics, insight analysis, conversion optimization and core conversion funnels of Vodafone.
e and app.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities.
1.
Web Analytics Management.
• Develop and optimize robust analytics frameworks using Adobe Analytics, and Tealium IQ • Ensure accurate tagging, define data layer, tracking, reporting, and data integrity across web and app.
• Support Digital Product teams in the development and maintenance of key operational reporting frameworks measuring KPI’s such as performance, availability & uptime.

Data Analysis and Reporting.
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards in Adobe Analytics and MicroStrategy.
• Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Monitor website performance metrics and KPIs and provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
• Liaise with various departments to support data-driven decision-making.
• Utilize SQL for complex data queries and analysis.
Aid in the development of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Vodafone Ireland’s digital properties.
3.
Technical Implementation and Collaboration.
• Assist in website and app tagging for the journeys, ensuring efficient and effective implementation.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate JavaScript solutions where beneficial.
Implement and test JavaScript-based solutions to improve website functionality, tracking, and user experience.
4.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
• Design and implement CRO strategies to improve user experience and conversion metrics.
• Conduct A/B tests using adobe target and analyse results to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization A/B tests and personalisation.
5.
Continuous Learning and Development • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in web and marketing analytics.
• Regularly update skills and knowledge, particularly in new platforms and technologies.
Attend webinars, workshops, and industry conferences to stay ahead of the curve in analytics strategies and tools.
Who you are.
You are a strong analytical thinker with a focus on data and commercial application of data insights.
You have previous experience with tag management tools such as Tealium IQ (preferably) or Google tag manager and web analytics tools such as Adobe analytics or google analytics.
You are proactive and creative.
You are passionate about web analytics, conversion optimization and have previous experience in applying digital insights into business cases to improve overall site conversion or to improve revenue from digital sales journeys.
This position is suited for those who are passionate about data, analytics, and continuous learning in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
We Are Looking For You, If You Have.
Essential.
2-4 years’ experience in working with Adobe Analytics (Site catalyst) or Google Analytics and experience working with tag management systems (e.
., Tealium, Google tag manager or Adobe Launch).
Relevant experience working in an ecommerce or online support environment for a large website, app or online brand.
Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analysing customer behaviour using available data to influence changes on the website.
Experience with JavaScript and debugging.
Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with conversion rate optimization techniques and A/B testing methodologies.
Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with personalization tools and techniques.
