Oversee daily operations of LSP, ensuring that customer service objectives are achieved, including on time delivery, etc.
Works daily on a regional level with Customer Service (O2I), CDT, SNP, LSP’s and LLP to resolve operational issues – returns, refusals, damages, master data accuracy, systems connectivity issues, service failures and inventory variances between systems Executes data collection and generation of periodic reporting requirements (KPI’s) to support transportation, warehousing and logistics procurement.
Main responsibilities.
Monitor performance of LSP’s, from both a cost and quality perspective to ensure on time and complete deliveries and efficient execution of Logistics requirements, such as inbound receiving, order picking, delivery, etc.; Resolve service issues and communicate to internal customers i.
.
Customer Service, CDT, SNP, LSP’s and LLP; Execute data collection and generation of periodic reporting requirements to support transportation, warehousing and logistics procurement; Identify and implement improvements on both the CP and LSP sides to drive efficiencies and cost savings; Manage the process for maintaining system data as it relates to departmental needs, to assure accuracy and reliability; Supply data and analysis to support the business decisions and budgeting processes; Ensure Colgate financial policies, SOX procedures, quality audits and inventory management are followed; Ensure that all local regulations are met and that products are received and shipped to meet customer requirements; Coordinate preparation of all required documents related to the finished goods warehouse; Reconciles inventory variances between CP and LSP systems; Tracks / monitors the interface between systems and resolves connectivity issues ensuring that all orders are transmitted and processed; Supports network optimization modelling process through data collection, population and utilization of decision support software; Conduct physical inventory counts and LSP audits on a periodic basis; Manage pallet process; Validate and approve invoices for payment; Identifies and leads Continuous Improvement opportunities between CP (CBS/Hub) and LSP in terms of systems, processes and tools; Supports warehouse coordinators in the team to standardize and automate tasks and processes; Supports warehouse coordinators with SAP expertise.
Represents the team in major projects as main tester.
Qualifications.
Proficient in German and English is a requirement; Ability to manage by exception; Excellent problem solving skills; Min.
3 years of experience in logistics/warehousing gained in an international company;  A Master degree in logistics or similar area will be an asset; Solid understanding and working experience with SAP will be an asset; Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; Results oriented approach; High degree of accuracy and attention to details; Ability to work within a larger team; Very good knowledge of MS Excel, G-suite is an asset.
