ASSISTANT MANAGER

What you’ll do The Network Engineer supports in planning, designing and optimising the network and driving effectiveness and efficiency through harmonisation and standardisation across the network development function following network procedures and concepts and carries out administration activities.
The Network Engineer conveys a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in delivery of Network Engineering activities in response to business needs and in alignment with the Vodafone Strategy.
Typically reports to the Network Engineering Manager.
Who you are * Follows Network processes to deliver tasks to support the execution of Network transformation decisions, related to the planning, deployment and optimization of Networks and service enablers; * Supports the team to deliver activities related, but not limited to the development and assessment of Network systems / services and optimisation in line with the principles, standards and designs; * Delivers assigned tasks for projects, within the roadmap, taking into account the directional guidance of the strategic (1 -3 year) plan, managing risks, escalations and exceptions, and complex interfaces; * Uses communication skills to work with other Network functions and other key stakeholders to ensure development is undertaken in line with the overall strategy and architecture and is fit for deployment; * Demonstrates a good understanding of specific elements across the Network landscape; * Has a good understanding of the needs to support the design, planning, deployment and optimization across the Network Development and Engineering area; * Interacts with suppliers, technology vendors, and internal functions; * Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
