This gives them the opportunity to grow professionally, a high level of responsibility for their work, and the satisfaction of being able to make a difference.SUMMARY:The objective is to prepare and ensure the quality and comprehensibility of the accounting information, performing the required transactions, executing the defined accounting processes and providing accounting information to internal/external auditors.Assists in the preparation of financial reports, according to both the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC) and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States), complying with general internal controls, including our SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) compliance program, as well as procedures, standards and policies established in the company.ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:Perform the various transactions and operations required within the accounting area, including, among others:Record manual journal entriesReview of intra-group transactions and balancesReconciliation of accounting accountsAnalysis and recording of provisions in the general accounting module.Assist in extracting monthly and quarterly reports needed for closing analysis.Support in preparing documentation and submitting information to internal and external audit.Support in the preparation of individual/consolidated annual accounts of the group.Preparation of the necessary information for compliance with internal controls (SOX) to be performed at the required intervals.Review of the reports sent to the Bank of Spain periodically (communication by residents in Spain of economic transactions and balances of financial assets and liabilities abroad).Perform monthly reviews of the financial information, guaranteeing its completeness, accuracy and consistency.Comply with the company's internal regulations and policies regarding accounting records.Ensure that the work teams are aware of the requirements of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX Law for its correct application. Conduct the necessary training to ensure that the work teams have the necessary knowledge and ensure their correct application.ROLE PROFILE:Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration and Management; Economics or similar. Graduate.Minimum experience of 2 years in big 4 (PWC, KPMG, DELOITTE, EY) in auditing or accounting consulting.Desirable experience 4-6 in accounting teams. Knowledge in budgeting, financial analysis, statistical data control, historical and projections. Knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS, SOX and IFRS.Advanced written and spoken English.Packages: Office 365, databases, ERP's (Enterprise Resource Planning).Previous experience in Oracle is a plus.Experience in consolidation and review of financial statements will be valued.Desirable tax knowledge and experience in lease accounting.Competences:Stability under pressure.Ability to handle conflicts.Planning and organizational skills.Teamwork, including external teams.Creativity in problem solving.Proactive and accustomed to working with diverse teams.
