Working as part of our international finance team, you will be a major player in driving the accounting function across Europe and US. The ideal candidate will be a natural collaborator, someone who likes working with people and has excellent communication skills. This person must have high energy, a "can do attitude," and must also embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.About the opportunity:You will work hand in hand with our Finance Manager ensuring all transactions are accurately input into our accounting system. This includes posting invoices, reviewing and matching bank reconciliations and accruals and supervising the accurate classification of company financial information. With a presence in several countries across Europe, you will dedicate a large portion of your time to managing invoice payments to our vendors to ensure timely reconciliation and accurate compliance with taxation regulations in each country. You will draw on your existing international accounting experience to collaborate with team on forecasting and budgeting, as well as contributing to report preparation to present for senior management.Responsibilities:timely and accurate entry of all invoices, sales invoices, and journal entries.accounts payable ageing and preparation of weekly payments runs.and process sales invoices and follow up on settlement.alongside the Finance Manager to forecast cash positions and ensure sufficient funds to settle accounts.with external tax consulting firms in preparing government filings such as VAT and Corporate Income Tax Returns.corporate banking transactionsin monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes.our automated tools to provide support to the expense reimbursement function for City Experience.with the preparation of financial information for upper management to facilitate informed business decisions.a positive professional relationship with our international vendors through timely payment processing and discrepancy resolutionwith process improvement and systems development. Ensure high-quality and up-to-date documentation is maintained for all relevant procedures and processes.manage a dynamic workload, prioritising your tasks in order to meet agreed upon deadlines and achieve department goalsad-hoc duties as requiredRequirements and Qualifications:in accounting or financeyears of experience in a finance role in an international organisationability to work independently, prioritising workloads and partnering cross-functionally, while delivering against tight deadlines.orientated and accurate.analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups etc.)in English, but bilingual capabilities (Spanish, French, Italian) a bonusaccounting qualification desirable but not essential
