GODDARD SCHOOL FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

It is my pleasure to recommend Ana Garza Gonzalez for a position as an early childhood educator. 
Ana worked at our school from June 7, 2017 until December 8, 2017 as a lead teacher in our First Steps program (ages 12 months to 18-20 months). Ana has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Virginia Community College. Ana's job responsibilities included supervising and caring for children, creating and implementing developmentally-appropriate lesson plans, child assessments, cleaning and sanitizing classroom equipment and materials, and active participation of school initiatives and events. Ana was a joy to work with, and earned respect and admiration from her colleagues and supervisors. Ana was patient, kind and nurturing toward the children in her care. Her energy was refreshing and her enthusiasm contagious. Ana did a wonderful job of making sure the children were always safe. She was highly professional and recognized children's needs, both academic and emotional. Ana was able to keep her classroom organized and the students under control while still making the atmosphere fun and exciting every day. Ana also did a wonderful job of effective communication with parents. She was able to competently and sensitively address all concerns that were brought to her attention and helped parents to feel more comfortable with their children's preschool experience. I am happy to recommend Ana for a position as an early childhood educator. I am confident that she will be a wonderful addition to your teaching team. If she was ever able to move back to our community, she is most certainly eligible for consideration for rehire.
